Dooku Goes To Naboo To Pull The Ears Off A Gundar

On this, the official opening day of the last movie of the Star Wars series, I offer a link to my favorite review.

Enjoy!

Hah! That was entertaining. But I am once again struck with the notion that the reviewer is exceedingly full of himself, as I've often found writers for The New Yorker to be... The Star Wars movies are the cinematic equivalent of hot buttered movie-theater popcorn. If you're in the mood for haute cuisine (as opposed to those who exist on it exclusively - as if it were the only "real" food - indicating a severely neurotic self-esteem issue), then don't go to the theatre snack bar looking for it. A review of a push-cart hot dog by a gourmet seems pointless to me. But they can be amusing... Notorious Mjt!

Yeah. I agree with Notorious MJT. This guy wants way beyond what Star Wars was ever intended to offer. He plainly hates every aspect of the series from inception to its present incarnation. He is proud of being an Ungeek to the point of being one. I think we could all agree that Lucas has produced some disappointing Star Wars moments (even whole movies). Yet, for some reason, I remain optimistic that there will be a great deal that I will enjoy about Revenge of the Sith. I look forward to watching it (albeit with a premonition that he will, on many occasions, cause me to snigger and roll my eyes). . . Tarsius.
